The newsletter will be updated and expanded over the next few days after it goes live. The newsletter will include 1) ARC Legal Advisor Peter Adler’s first hand report on the New Hampshire hearing on a proposed bill barring Medicaid funding for male circumcision in that state; 2) an article by Lisa Braver Moss about some recent grassroots work relating to Judaism and genital autonomy; 3) a report by Tim Hammond on ARC’s participation in Gay Pride Week in Palm Springs, California; 4) a photo report by Steven Svoboda on the conference held in May in Frankfurt and the Worldwide Genital Autonomy Day march in Cologne; 5) a firsthand photojournalistic report on Genital Autonomy Week 2015; 6) a photo report on the two conferences this year at which a team of Steven Svoboda, Marilyn Milos of NOCIRC, intersex activist Hida Viloria (present only for the May 1, 2015 event), and anti-female genital cutting activist Soraya Mire joined forces to present regarding genital autonomy; 7) reviews; 8) news reports, and much more.

On December 4, 2015, Steven Svoboda, NOCIRC’s Marilyn Milos, and Soraya Mire of Persistent Productions co-presented a session titled “From Circumcision to Genital Autonomy: Protecting the Rights of the Child” in Berkeley, California to the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPPAH). The room was packed, the questions were incisive, and the event was a smashing success.

Steven Svoboda appeared on the Men’s Advocate Show on KCAA Radio and on the Internet on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. He overviewed the movement for genital autonomy and responded to live calls from listeners. The show can be listened to at http://tunein.com/radio/The-Mens-Advocate-p765101. Steven’s segment starts 17 minutes into the podcast.
